I’ve been on cellcept only 3 weeks. No stomach issues but I do find I have some insomnia issues wake up at 3am wide a wake but I’m a terrible sleeper anyway. My dose is 250mg 2x a day.

Diane, I am currently taking CellCept 1000mg 1hr before my first meal in AM and 1000mg 2hr after my last meal for about 9 months, and have had no issues with any side effects. This was prescribed by my MG Doctors at Barrows Neurological Center in Phx. The only diarrhea issues was when I took the Mestinon without food. For the first few months after my diagnosis Dec2024 I would drink 4oz of plain Kiefer when taking the Mestinon and prednisone to coat the stomach lining from. Getting irritated. Diane I'd find me a new neurologist that specializes in MG you have had way to many negetaive effects from medication , something doesn't seam right , be your own advocate read everything about MG make copies , its your health and pocket there messing with let them know you know what you are talking about , I have proven my Neurologist wrong a few times now he works with me, thought he knew it all well then he met me, I have a note book I made with all the copies of the information I found on MG and I take it with me to every doctors appointment my hubby calls it my bible, I wish you the best in 2026❤

Lately, I seem to have a lot more energy, so I’m hoping it’s the CellCept but I didn’t think it started this soon. Yes I have the generalized MG. I had it all the double vision, the blurriness the slurry speech weakness in my arms legs that is all cleared up except my weakness they’re going to do an IV infusion next week. I’m hoping that takes care of my weakness and I’m praying to God this goes into remission. It came on so quickly I’m hoping it leaves me very quickly. I pray every night. I do still wake up at around 3 AM and just lie in bed until a little bit after four then I fall asleep again I’m usually up by 7 AM to take pills.
