My bp was fine until cellcept.
Read up on the contraindications. It's a great medicine but all good things come with a caviat.
I also got tinnitus and thinning hair. Some people got curly hair.
I wish I got the curly hair😎
It is very frustrating!!! Ask to try another drug? Do your own research also, when cellcept was suggested to me I refused to take it because of all the side effects.
Unfortunately all drugs have side effects , and some can cause cancer 😩 as I have said many times, it is trial and error.
Wishing you all the very best
I just looked up cellcept use for people with mg and it can raise blood sugar in 50% of people who use it. It can also raise blood pressure. I don't feel like taking it anymore.
CellCept is in a class of meds that also includes Imuran (Azathioprine). I’ve been taking Azathioprine for 13-1/2 years for my AChR-Ab+ gMG. It’s remained very effective, and I’ve never experienced the kinds of side effects you’ve reported as related to CellCept. Might be worth a discussion with your neuro.
Thank you. I guess there's always a trade off. Lots to consider.
