I take it in the morning on an empty stomach. I stay away from green leafy veggies, nuts, dairy. I also am on mestinon and take them both during my waking hours before meals or 2 hours after to make sure my stomach is empty but the yucky feeling comes in waves sometimes

Consider breaking up your meals into 6 smaller portions throughout the day rather than 3 larger ones. This can help manage nausea and ensure you're getting enough nutrition. Smoothies made with yogurt and peanut butter can be a gentle way to get protein while feeling queasy.

For timing medications, try taking them about an hour before eating to optimize their effectiveness while minimizing stomach upset. You might want to experiment with having a small amount of food with your medication - like mixing it into pudding (after checking with your pharmacist that this is okay for your specific medications). Regular communication with your healthcare team is essential - they may be able to adjust your medication dosage if the side effects are significantly impacting your quality of life. They might also recommend specific times of day to take your medications that could help reduce nausea.

Consider keeping a food and symptom diary to identify patterns of when the nausea is worst. This information can be valuable for your healthcare team in making adjustments to your treatment plan.

I take 1000mg in the morning and 1000 at night I take the morning 1000 with all my other pills. Maybe don’t take on an empty stomach. Or take them at night if you only take once a day

Mestinon should be taken with food. I eat one piece of dry toast before taking it. It has helped with my nausea. Your doctor might also be able to give you an anti-nausea med.
