I’m receiving Vyvgart infusions. That combined with Cellcept and Mestinon seems to be working for me. Right now my schedule for the infusions is every three months. That is working for me but is always subject to change so I look at it as a maintenance schedule. I have had no adverse reactions to it. I have a friend who is a retired research scientist who specialized in cancer treatment research. He just happens to know a lot about Vyvgart and was excited for me when I told him I was starting treatment. I’m in year two having been diagnosed in February 2025. Hope this helps.
Wow Wilma. I feel for you. IVIG didn't work for you. I'm not as bad as you. IVIG was helping me some. It can take a few months. Vyvgart is supposed to not take as long to work. Keep us posted with your vyvgard trial. I pray it works for you.
Double and blurry vision
Leg and arm weakness
I’m in motorize wheelchair
And have to watch my swallowing
And was receiving ivig monthly
I take prednisone daily
And mestinon 30mg every 4hours I’m praying that the vyvgard will eliminate the ivig infusion and I will only need the 30 second once a week injections and mestinon 🙏🏽
I asked my neurologist. He said I wasn't bad enough and it's to expensive. Wouldn't even look into it. I did a lot of research and it looks promising.
I’m trying the injection that only takes 30 seconds
