Well Hello to Meta the German/Black chick. Just sayin' I know something about the senior years having been a senior for quite some time. Looks like we'll all just continue to muddle along because MG seems to just change the path every time I think I know where I'm going.😂
Meta, I feel like I should have added something to my answer so here goes: Medications that you may be taking whether or not they are for MG could also be causing bowel issues. Another possibility is that there is a new cause so you should see your primary care doctor if you haven't recently. UGH!! It is so hard sometimes to figure out what is going on. I hope that your doctors can help.
No. Not to me either. Mine is constipation when I have issues.
I have gmg and sometimes and its rare I will have loose stools.
Its about our dietary habits. But MG had a way of exacerbate even that. Eat some food that will bind you and stay away from foods that will go right through you. If it gets worse Definitely call your pcp and tell them everything.
It's happened to me but not often and I have never figured out whether it is common or not. Doctors denied it was MG ... BUT they say MG affects all voluntary muscles and at least some of our excretory muscles are voluntary... the ability to wait or the ability to go. I think it likely is MG. Like Carol though I am more likely to have loose stools.
Hi meta - if it’s not one thing it’s something else. No I haven’t experienced that - I’m the opposite loose bowels. Hang in there.
