I spoke with my neuro about my concerns all pharmacists are not the same and are not your doctor no matter how helpful they are
And I'm with you on that pill thing
Wouldn’t you talk to your heart doctor to stop statins? Perhaps take some other drug to reduce cholesterol in veins? I will visit my regular doctor and heart doctor to see what I should do. We need a better way to communicate with doctors rather than just a scheduled visit. Perhaps email or text messages. So now I need an online doctor that can ask quick questions. Most online doctors want access to your medical records and charge Medicare I guess.
I take Mestinon Timespan 180mg at 8pm and take Rosuvastatin at 10 pm both work on the blood. The Rosuvastatin does not make me dizzy as it did when I took both at the same time. Not sure why my pharmacist did not say I could have a problem. I just read in an article about a problem with taking both. I am just getting tired of taking so many pills.
I'm under the impression that statins are incompatible. The way I see it, in my case at least, they were helping me prevent a future problem that I don't have yet. This is a new problem that I have now
You need to have a talk with your neurologist. The day that you get a diagnosis of mg, you stop taking statins
