Some mornings worse than others yet I have the same routine with meds etc. my last really bad bout my neurologist told me to reduce my mestinon from 5 to 3x a day. I reduced to 4 bc I was afraid it was too much at one time. I’m much better now.

I don't take Imodium for diarrhea. I use Culturelle Probiotics. It helps alot with no negative interactions with Mestinon.

I’m very much like that also. If I have issues I’ll take immodium. It’s good because it works quickly.

When should Imodium be taken in relation to Mestinon or bowel movements?

Unfortunately, the search results don't contain specific guidance about timing Imodium with Mestinon or in relation to bowel movements. This is really a question best directed to a pharmacist or your neurologist, as they can advise on:

* Potential interactions between the two medications
* Whether Imodium should be taken preventatively or after symptoms start
* How timing might affect Mestinon absorption

Some medications need to be taken at specific times or with certain foods, and others may interact with each other. Since this involves coordinating two medications, getting personalized advice from your healthcare team will ensure you're taking them safely and effectively.

A pharmacist can often provide quick guidance on medication timing without needing an appointment, which might be helpful in this situation.
