Cellcept also called mycophenalate is an immunosuppressive drug.
I've been on it since February this year 2025. It helped reduce my blurry and double vision as well as bi lateral shoulder pain.
MG can exacerbate all muscle pain and weakness imho. It's a game changer for me when it was coupled with my mestinon
Yes thank you.

If you go to the resources menu above there should be an article to fully explain.
Best explanation from me is,
When our muscles don't receive the signal from our nervous system so that it can increase in stamina when are doing daily activities then our muscles will grow weaker as we use them. This can happen any time of the day with any muscle in our bodies.
And can last for a few hours to a few weeks or months if you have not seen your neuro to receive proper meds.
I hope I was helpful.😎
I was put on Cellcept in early October and I'm now off of it. I had a flare up on vacation and it was just to get that under control along with the use of prednisone. Thankfully the extra symptoms I had have gone away so I don't need it and I'm almost off the prednisone again. There is a generic and I don't believe it was expensive however I had already met my deductible so I didn't have to pay any of it.
Hi Diane. I have been on Cell Cept for over a year. My first dose was increased Janipuary 2025 and I have been doing very well on this increased dose. I do have limited symptoms from mg so I have been lucky there. I can’t answer about cost since my cell cept is covered.
