Ok so here's my story.
2 yrs ago on a plane to Puerto Rico the pilot was coming in for hot landing. And I mean seering. My ears started screeching on the landing so bad my seatmate grabbed me to steady me. It was the most painful experience since idk when. I didn't think about it much then because it was so sublte but I've had tinnitus since then.
At an appointment with my gmg specialist he prescribed cellcept and since then the tinnitus has gotten worse. It got rid of the bilateral shoulder pain, the blurry double vision and now, i deal with hearing loss because of the tinnitus which is also an after effect of the cellcept.
My estimation,
Gmg has exacerbated the tinnitus.
I take a non rx supplement called lipoflavanoid 2 pills once a day and my doctors have all approved it.
If I have rough nights when I can't sleep the tinnitus gets bad and I take 2 more. mostly it dials it down to a bearable sound. It takes a while to kick in but when it does my life is much more bearable.
Stay hopeful 😎 and remember to check-in with your doc whenever u wanna add a supplement to your regimen.

Hi Johanna
I can relate to this tinnitus. I actually started getting it when my hearing loss started. Loud noises definable aggravated it to the point I want to chop my head off....
My ears sometimes feel like a knife stabbing insides.
The loud roaring buzzing humming etc
I am going to look up that supplement you try.
Wishing you the best with it because I know it's really can be debilitating. πŸ™

MG can exacerbate symptoms. find out if tinnitus is a side effect of one of your meds. And let your neuro or pcp know to get a referral to an ent specialist.

Hi Johanna, I hope you're doing better. I emailed my neurologist about this and waiting for a reply. I have never had pain like that in my life. It felt.like something was about to burst in my head over my right eyebrow. It happened on the way.to Seattle and on the way back. Thank God I wasn't going any further. I'm really curious about this,if it's the MG or the meds πŸ€”
