Living with a weird new disease is bad enough, without the whole anxiety trigger. It can be helpful in this area.

I've used medical marijuana. For back pain and sleep. A few times when I've used CBD based products to sleep it greatly improves my breathing. Strange, yes. So I have used it other times when my breathing difficulties won't stop. I believe my anxiety over MG and other rare diseases hinders my breathing.
what a vivous cycle. It has probably kept me from an MG crisis. I don't know that, it works for me. Marijuana products fare not federally legal, CBD I Believe is. So I am nervous sharing it except if it helps anyone else I want them to know my experience. All my doctors know that I use it
I can't take muscle relaxers prescribed for my Dystonia but a small amount of marijuana does not.increase my MG symptoms. I advise to only try this.with your Drs approval. It can make my balance worse

While CBD and hemp oil aren't directly addressed in the provided search results, it's important to note that any supplements, including CBD products, should be discussed with your healthcare provider before trying them. This is especially crucial since supplements can interact with MG medications and potentially affect your immune system.

Some key considerations when trying any new supplement with MG:
- They may interact with medications like immunosuppressants
- Quality and purity can vary between brands
- Effects can be unpredictable with autoimmune conditions
- Always choose products from reputable manufacturers with third-party testing If you're looking for natural ways to manage symptoms, some MGteam members have found relief through:
- Using natural muscle rubs with ingredients like arnica or peppermint
- Proper hydration to prevent muscle fatigue
- Heat therapy (used cautiously and for limited time)
- Meditation for pain management

Remember to track any new treatment's effects on your symptoms and always inform your healthcare team about supplements you're considering.
