Good Morning All. My gMG has been mostly under control since being diagnosed a little over two years ago. Minor reduction in leg strength and energy levels are my issues. In addition, my eyes seem to be suffering from all the regular old guy things like macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts. I jokingly tell the eye doctors that I have a German Shepherd, a cane and all I need is a white ball for the end of the cane and I am set to go. They don't think it is funny but what can you do??
I knew getting older would be a challenge, but didn't count on adding MG to the mix. But it is what it is so onward and upward we all go. Very happy to be part of MGteam and share experiences and information with you all. It has given me the nudge to review my life and make positive changes, which I have done and continue to do.

Well at 61 I was diagnosed with copd and that was a shock because I have never smoked in my life , but the doctor said it was probably from my work , I work in a hospital around strong chemicals for 36 years back then they never were concerned with your lungs and what you were breathing, thank god its mild , then in 2024 at the age of 67 I was diagnosed with MG , my golden years have been a roller coaster ride , sometimes I wonder what's next❤

Prior to being diagnosed in November of 23 with mg at 70, has been diagnosed with psoriasis, a long with psoriatic arthritis. That diagnosis was was probably a good 10 years prior. Then at 66 has 2 stents it in following a heart attack. Life has been a roller coaster ride these past few years. But the good Lord has blessed me even with these conditions a reasonably good life.
