I've been newly diagnosed with MG. Started with my eyes, fatigue, brain fog. Now I have double vision everyday that makes driving hard, headaches, fatigue, worst begin fog that has my currently out of work.
Ariana, you haven't mentioned your treatment for MG as far as medications are concerned with a neurologist. I had all of your symptoms 8 years ago and the eye doctors I went to tried prism lenses and gave up and covered one eye with a patch so I could drive.
Finally a new eye doctor discovered a possible MG diagnosis and sent me to a neurologist who gave me the MG diagnosis and put me on medication. There was never a discussion about a medical alert device as the meds started to give me relief.
After 6-9 months, I am on 3 Mestinon a day and got off prednizone. I also cured my headaches by sleeping in a semi reclining position instead of laying flat in bed. Since this is a snowflake illness where everyone reacts differently to MG, working with a good doctor is really paramount. Good luck getting better.
