More often than not, I push myself because I don't know what is "enough".
I have never heard of this treatment either,I already know I become really tired around two and have a rest and on some days I can do very little, even if I try and force myself to do things ,it doesn’t work and other days I’m more energetic and race around doing things while I can
I listen to my body. For ex today at work I started to feel slightly weak after being on my feet for 2 1/2 hrs. I had already taken my mestinon pill and drank my Gatorade so I knew it was time to wrap it up. Came home ate a protein bar and sat for about 15 min and felt just fine.
I got the Visible band a few months ago. It has been helpful but would probably be even more helpful if I took the time to learn the different features. It basically gives you a point system for energy spent and will send you notifications if you've spent too much time in your "exertion zone" and tells you to rest. It actually picked up on my heart rate being erratic. I told my doctor what was happening and I needed my medication changed. So that alone was worth the cost for me.
That sounds like me too. I usually lie down around 2:30ish just to rest - if I’m lucky I nap for maybe 30min.
After 6years of dealing with MG I find when I start feeling tired I know I have to rest. MG always wins. Not much more to say! Good luck!
One thing I forgot to tell you is do not take your vitamins with your steroids. Take them at least 2 hours after. They won't have much effect with the steroids. Ask your pharmacist!
