Members discussed whether Mestinon or CellCept causes diarrhea, with the clear consensus pointing to Mestinon as the culprit. Several members shared that working with their neurologist to lower their Mestinon dosage brought significant relief, with some splitting pills or adjusting timing to find the right balance. A recurring theme was the fear of symptoms returning when reducing medication, met with encouragement that finding the right dose on a strict schedule can make a big difference.

Dr said to lower from 5 to 3 but I got scared so I lowered to 4 but still not helping. Since it’s the weekend and I don’t work I may go down to 3 and see. I’m scared to death for my symptoms to come back.

Carol I think its the mestinon , because I was taking 90mg 3 x a day , and my Neurologist lowered it to 60mg 2 x a day and I hardly have any problems with diaherra like I did before , so lowering must help , I haven't noticed any leg cramps either❤
