Hour before eating or 2’hours after dinner? Then the after dinner pill apparently causes me insomnia ???
I've heard that Cell Cept doesn't cause insomnia, although I tend to have some restless nights at times, as my mind runs amok fixing every problem on the planet, or mulling over things I've done 50/60 years ago. 😒
My schedule runs so that I take my morning dose (1000mg) at around 8/9am, and the evening dose (1000mg) around 8/9pm, paying no regard to when I have eaten. This seems to work for me.
Hi Carole,
Denis has never taken it at 12 hr intervals, this is new to us and he has been on it since 2004. He takes 2 (500 mg tablets) as soon as he gets up in the morning (7-8 am) and then again about 4 pm so he is okay for dinner anytime after 5 pm. His bottle just says take 2 tablets by mouth 2 times a day and we knew about the 1 hr before or 2 hours after, just never heard the 12 hours apart. He does great and is in remission with it. Hope this helps.
That's a genuinely tricky scheduling puzzle — and the insomnia on top of it makes it even more frustrating to navigate!

Thank you Denilyndee / great advice to talk to a pharmacist and thanks for your words of encouragement sometimes we just need to hear it especially from the ones that truly know what we’re going through. Baby steps as I’m told.
