Hi Jay
My understanding over the years people with myasthenia gravis should never take muscle relaxers.
Always double check with your neurologist.
I had severe muscle cramping in my legs at night and I figured out that I needed to keep my magnesium levels low and then they went away. I tried for a couple of years. I had them so severe . I had all kinds of tests. Doctors couldn't tell me what the problem was.
That's when I got on here and I was looking for answers.
Johanna said her neurologist told her to keep her magnesium levels low.
So I decided to check that out and she was absolutely right.
Check your magnesium levels and see where they are.
I keep mine at 1.6 1.7 barely on the line of being normal
It's worth checking out.
I hope that you can find some answers.
I hope this helps. Good luck. God bless you.
