Members shared their experiences with internal jitters as a symptom of myasthenia gravis, with several noting that poor sleep, stress, and anxiety about loved ones can intensify these sensations, while one member found that low blood sugar triggered afternoon jitters. Many members offered emotional support and coping strategies, including prayer and spiritual grounding, researching symptoms through trusted medical websites, and recognizing when the body might be signaling a need for treatment like an infusion. A recurring theme was the highly individual nature of MG symptoms, the importance of finding a good neurologist, and a shared determination to keep fighting and not let the disease win.

Hi ladies, I also get the jitters. In the morning before caffeinated coffee I got to have it 😆 🤣. Then it stops, and in the afternoon it will kick in again which means for me( miss diabetic) low blood sugar. Then I'm alright as far as I'm concerned we will all be tested as long as we have MG. So I do research on website WebMD or the Mayo Clinic and ask the questions. I got my Dr degree in 8 weeks 😆 🤣 😂. We tall have to hang in there or give up! And I refuse to do that, its either MG or me and I'm going to win!!! Meta

I haven’t experienced this but this disease is named correctly-snowflake Everyone is different and everyone responds differently. Finding a good neurologist is key.

Hi Carol. Stress and worry can do a lot of harm to our bodies. Since I came down with MG, I have started praying more each day and trying to read my Bible more. I thank God for His mercy, and I feel like this disease has had one benefit. It's brought me closer to God. Praying takes my mind off all the worry as I try to remember others in prayer and remember what they are going through. In perspective, some are a lot worse off than I am. Anyway, it sure is helping me cope. Love you!

It’s probably just us lol! I tend to stress too much. I was waiting on blood test results for my daughter and it was taking along time to process so of course I start to worry but she just got them back and all is in the green.

Hi Carol ~ I get them too sometimes. Don’t know whether it’s the medications or just me :/
