Your experience with IVIG is quite common - both the positive response and the side effects. The symptoms you experienced (fever, chills, headache) are known side effects that can occur during or after infusion. It's excellent that you're seeing significant improvement in your MG symptoms, as IVIG typically takes a few weeks to show benefits. For safer future infusions, here are recommended precautions:
• Ensure proper hydration before, during, and after treatment
• Pre-treatment with medications (as you mentioned - prednisone, Benadryl, Tylenol)
• IV fluids during treatment if needed
• Slower infusion rate if side effects occur
• Regular blood testing to monitor kidney function
• Close monitoring by healthcare providers during infusion

Discussing these options with your doctor is the right approach for completing the remaining treatments safely.
