The primary way MG affects your tongue is by causing muscle weakness, particularly in the back of the roof of the mouth (palatal weakness). To help manage any tongue-related symptoms, it's important to work closely with your neurology team to ensure your treatment plan addresses all of your needs. Some tongue-related symptoms can impact eating, nutrition, and social activities, so proper medical guidance is essential.
