Mary. I was bit twice by angry wasps 2 days ago. Stung on the hand and the neck. Hand swole up and still is. I started taking Benadryl yesterday, but the swelling is not gone down yet. I was told that you can have nerve damage if the swelling is not reduced. I applied damp baking soda and it took some of the itch away. Be careful.

This sounds like a concerning situation that requires immediate medical attention. While the search results don't specifically address wasp stings with MG, any infection or stress to the body can potentially trigger or worsen MG symptoms, including muscle weakness.

Given that you're experiencing weakness spreading up your arm along with swelling, it's important to seek emergency medical care right away. This could be an allergic reaction, an MG flare, or both. Make sure to inform all healthcare providers about your MG diagnosis when seeking treatment. They will need to carefully consider medication choices, as some treatments commonly used for allergic reactions or stings may need to be adjusted for someone with MG.

Thank you everyone for your help and advice! I woke up this morning with hand still swollen, but I could move my fingers and hand, thank goodness! I soaked in baking soda and rested today. I am feeling much much better this evening. Thank you again everyone. ๐Ÿ’ž

Yes. I was attacked by wasps a cpl yrs ago when I was trimming bushes in my back yard. Got me in both temples, and the back of my hands. I ran in the house and iced up everything. My hands and fingers were swollen but they went down. The ice helped my temples.
That was me.
You go to e.r. and call your neurologist right away miss maam.
