I take my mestinion 60mg 5x a day and cellcept 250mg 2x a day. I’d definitely check with your neurologist.

Thanks Terri. The mestinon appears to work sometimes for short amounts of time but it does seem to be working longer as time and days roll on. Would you suggest I keep taking it 3 x a day like that every four hours?

I am seronegative also. I did have some changes on my rep stim test. Main thing is if the treatment for MG like mestinon, steroids and other medicines help trust the process. I only take mestinon every four hours and I’m on lose dose steroids. I will be getting ivig because of a recent flare that las lawyer over a month now

Key tests that can help confirm MG beyond antibody testing include:
- Electromyography (nerve conduction study)
- Repetitive nerve stimulation
- Eye muscle electrical response testing One MGteam member shared that their "diagnosis was not confirmed until I had an EMG. My neurologist was convinced at the first visit that I had MG, but the blood work did not confirm this."

Getting diagnosed can take time and patience. It's important to follow up with your neurologist and complete all recommended testing to get an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment plan.
