After 3 years of 20-50mg daily, we weaned off with last dose in September, but I still have prednisone withdrawal, really bad early, getting better. Muscle and joint soreness. Not feeling great yet, but some of the side effects of the prednisone are gone, not missing them.

Let’s see!

While each person's response to infusion treatments can vary, some MGteam members have reported that it can take a few weeks to notice symptom relief from infusion treatments like IVIG. The effectiveness may depend on factors like your weight, treatment history, and how long you've been receiving the specific treatment.

When receiving infusions, it's important to stay well-hydrated and communicate any side effects to your healthcare team. They can adjust infusion rates and provide supportive medications if needed to help manage any discomfort. If you're concerned about the effectiveness of your current infusion treatment after weaning off prednisone, it's recommended to track your symptoms and discuss any changes with your healthcare provider. They can evaluate if your current treatment plan needs adjustment to maintain optimal symptom management.
