I'm just taking generic mestanon and Vyvgart. I've been off prednisone for at least 3 weeks now. I've had no MG symptoms pop up but I can tell I'm dragging more than I was when I was on the prednisone. At this point I'd rather drag than not be able to sleep and can't stop eating.
What are you taking besides the prednisone?
I had the very same question. Right now I am not on prednisone after weaning myself off of a 3 and 1/2 months of using it. For me I think it would give me a boost of energy but it's not worth the side effects of gaining weight and not being able to sleep being on it.
Prednisone can stay I your body a loooong time. When we're more active than normal it builds muscle and if you're not exercising it will build fat. I know. So if you wanna do anything, do it in moderation. I dont exercise or move about much when Im on it. Because it will ale you gain weight. The best part is that once it's out of your system you can go about life normally. Idk how much or how long you were on it because that plays into everything.
