So interesting to read the responses to your question, Yvett! I have muscle spasms and twitching, as well. Occassionally there are spasms that travel through my body, usually starting in my lower legs and moving up. My neurologist agrees that that is part of my MG. I also have twitching around my eyes, that he says is not. Personally, I think it's all related, whether it's from MG or the meds.

I think most of us know our bodies better than our doctors do. Also, MG is a rare disease about which no one has all the answers. So sometimes our docs educate us, and sometimes we get to help educate them!

I have had twitching even before Mestinon. My neurologist calls it essential 🙂tremors. But I got worse after starting on Mestinon. Still shaky but as stated above it does get worse with exertion. I'm also diabetic, one doc tells me its my blood glucose level. I assured him that wasn't the answer since I wear a GCM have an HBa1c of 5.1 Still no resolution. Hang in there it is a JOURNEY!
