Why is Myasthenia Gravis seen on so many tv commercials these days, for being such a rare disease? I believe statins had a hand in me getting MG. As I watch the commercials and the warnings come up at the bottom of the screen..... many say something like you could have a rare reaction of Myasthenia Gravis, etc..........

I totally agree with you. Nothing surprises me anymore.

My old pcp put me on statins 4 years ago that's when all of my systems started , went to my new pcp and told her if I could lower my statins and eventually go off she told me yes she didn't see anything in my chart as to why I was put on them in the first place.

In my area I am the only person in my clinic that has it. It's a small ish town. Every doctor I see always has a I'm just finding out look on their face.
You get use to it.
