Members discussed their experiences with vitamin D3 and B12 supplements, sharing how these have impacted their energy levels and overall wellbeing, particularly for those managing MG. Several members noted the importance of getting blood levels checked regularly, with doctors generally preferring B12 levels in the higher normal range, and one member shared how B12 injections every two weeks made a noticeable difference compared to monthly shots. A recurring theme was checking with your doctor before adjusting dosages, as both too little and too much of these supplements can affect how you feel.

Hi Roy! Am just seeing your question, and wanted to chime in. I was taking D3 before my MG diagnosis, and have been taking B12 injections routinely since shortly after I was diagnosed. One of the first things my neurologist did was to check my B12, and found that it was alarmingly low. I don't know how or even if that relates to my MG, but I do know that it has made a huge difference in my energy level and overall feeling of wellbeing. At one point I was down to one injection per month, but have found that I do best when I have a shot at least every 2 weeks.
I am a huge believer in B12 for anyone, but especially for those of us dealing with MG. You can get it in pill form anywhere, but I recommend checking with you doctor to see if you may be a candidate for injections. They've made a huge difference for me!

I went to my neurologist and while b12 at 365 is in the normal range it’s better to be higher with NG. I’m now on a b12 pill. My rheumatologist and primary advised the same.,
