I have had incontinence and somewhere in the research on this site it states as such. The short answer is muscle involvement. Also, when I have had to have xrays, I always ask about too much exposure. What I have been told is that the xrays they have now have very little exposure. Certainly avoid too much. I dont get dental xrays every year. Get a bib for your thyroid.

It sounds like you're dealing with some really frustrating bladder issues — that's no fun at all! However, bladder problems and X-rays aren't directly connected to myasthenia gravis management, so this is really a question best answered by your doctor or urologist who knows your full health picture.

It sounds like you're dealing with some really frustrating bladder issues — that's no fun at all! However, bladder problems and X-rays aren't directly connected to myasthenia gravis management, so this is really a question best answered by your doctor or urologist who knows your full health picture.

What can be said is that standard X-rays are generally considered low-risk imaging procedures. The level of radiation exposure from a typical X-ray is quite small.

If your concern is related to any MG treatments or medications affecting your bladder, that's worth raising directly with your neurologist. They can help connect the dots between your MG management and any new symptoms you're experiencing.

Please don't delay reaching out to your healthcare team about this — bladder issues that feel persistent or worsening deserve prompt attention!
