If you had any former respiratory issues like bronchitis or getting colds I would probably get the shot, even if you have no issues breathing it would be a safe bet. I was never offered it yet but if they did I would probably get it. Could be a blessing in disguise. Just make sure your in a decent state of health before getting the shot. This way your system can tolerate it.

I've had my pneumonia vaccination updated last year and didn't have any reaction to the vaccine, except for soreness at the injection site. Most people don't have any reactions to the vaccine but there is always an exceptional few that does have a serious reaction. If you have concerns about having a serious reaction after receiving the vaccine, you can always stay in your clinic for 15-30 minutes to be monitored before leaving to go about your day. That is what I do and the doctor's office requires the patient to stay for observation for 15-30 minutes.

I had a reaction to pneumovacs, but it was an itchy hives like rash up and down both of my arms. It lasted 4-5 days, so I didn't get the second shot or booster. I got the regular one dose one then at age 65. I was 58 when I got pneumovacs. I was told the COVID shot may be a lot less effective since I am on Cellcept, but I was told to get a COVID shot more often, so I go every 4-6 months. At first they were asking if anyone was immuno suppressed,and since others got a booster of 1/2 the shot dose, I got the full dose shot again. I asked through U.C. health COVID line how short of time could I have between. They said 2 months. I was shocked. I go 4 months if we are going on a trip or someplace with crowds. At home I wait 6 months. This last few times I had to look around to find a shot as they send them back to wait for the new shot. I had to call all the pharmacies to get the old shot and then they asked me how many of that shot have I had? I had one in 6 months and the next 2 in 4 mo. apart and they deemed that fine. I suppose you can't have 4 or 5 because the new shots are like the flu shots that are designed to target last year's strains of virus.

Hey good evening team. Two weeks ago I got flu and Heb B on same day. Had no side effects as of today. Also I got messages from CVS to let me know that the next covid shot is ready and make an appointment. Im looking at it this way, I have a disease with no cure so I'm going to try to be proactive so I dont get anything else on top of Mg that may kill me!! I prayed over it, Gods got this so I'm good.
