I am very fortunate Carol, living in Melbourne Australia, as our health system is great! I have to pay very minimal, as it is covered by the govt!
I do not know how people survive having to pay for these expensive services.
I am very grateful 🙏
Fortunately the outpatients clinic that i visit has everything on record, so incase there is a crisis the Hospital has a record of everything 👍
The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA) is the go-to resource for this! They offer an emergency medical alert packet and card specifically designed for people with MG.
The packet includes:
- An explanation of MG for medical personnel
- A list of medications that can worsen MG (super important for ER visits!)
Thank You so much for asking this Carol! After my mini-crisis last month I asked my neurologist about a card and was told, ‘well you can make one up! This is such a great help 🫡
