I had a thymectomy, but mine was done at a children’s hospital, I was only 11. Im not sure how they could deny anyone, the thymectomy usually helps so much with symptoms!! Unless it’s an issue of experience, it’s probably not the most popular procedure! I actually had a neurologist have me do a MRI to make sure all of my thymus was removed, after symptoms started getting worse after I had my 2nd child when I was about 32 years old. But anyways has your dr referred you anywhere else? Not sure about GA, but Indianapolis is where mine was done.
