Of course!!! There are many very intelligent & highly advanced doctors who already know this. It will become recognized eventually. I would say that my mg was caused by emotional stress over a long period of time & also over-work & exhaustion & chemical toxins

That's a really thoughtful question, and yes — environmental exposures can absolutely play a role in triggering myasthenia gravis (MG), and they don't have to be recent. Researchers believe that certain environmental factors can trigger MG in people who already carry underlying genetic risk factors, meaning the "seed" may have been planted long ago.
Some known environmental and lifestyle triggers include:
- Infections (bacterial or viral)
- Physical trauma
- Emotional stress
- Smoking
- Certain medications
- Surgery
- Overactive thyroid
- Pregnancy
- Allergic reactions
Smoking in particular is a known factor that can worsen MG and trigger autoimmune activity. Other lifestyle and dietary factors may also cause the immune system to become overactive, producing autoantibodies that mistakenly attack the body's own tissues. As a woman, it's also worth knowing that changing estrogen levels throughout life — during puberty, pregnancy, and menopause — may have influenced how your immune system behaved over the decades. Women in their 20s and 30s are more commonly diagnosed with MG, but it can absolutely develop later in life too.
It's always a good idea to discuss your personal history with your neurologist, who can help piece together what may have contributed to your MG over time.
