One of the biggest helps for me with brain disfunction is water aerobics. Our pool at the casino is a bit on the cold side and in a one hour workout I will see and feel improvements. Neurologists do not understand the connection, but encourage me and even suggest cold plunges. I say maybe not…lol..

So I initially was taking ginkgo Bilbao and it was working pretty well when I was in my 40s. Now that Im 65 I take Vitmin A as well as eating foods that help with brain and memory health. I do word puzzles and play games that require me to figure out strategies. I listen to audio books that have details like scenery, fashion etc.
Music with lyrics that are easy for me to remember.
Stuff like that and it does help to write stuff down but if you can't remember where you wrote lol. Cause that happens to me.
But using functions in her phone like reminders. Repeating out loud a particular thing. Our muscle memory needs a jolt when brain fog hits.
My daughter has adhd and dyslexia so a lot of the things I do now are things I used to help her stay focused and organized.
Lastly when we use our finger tips on a thing, pick anything, we create a muscle memory of that thing.
So writing with her finger in sand helps and its fun.
My house was a mess but worked for her and use some of these today on myself
It comes down to repetition repetition repetition.

Hi Johanna! As you know, I’m no doctor, but if my doctor said that about my son I wouldn’t be too happy. It’s not just hydration. She has MG! I believe in helping ourselves as much as possible, ie staying hydrated, eating foods that help us, but at the end of the day our kids have MG. I hope she feels better soon.
