Does anyone else have another autoimmune disease? I have had interstitial cystitis which is thought to be an autoimmune disease.

I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis when I was 20 years old and with MG at age 71. Also my mother had Parkinsons and my dad had lots.of allergies. Makes me wonder if my gene pool contributed to this diagnoses.

I have RA and MG. I’ve been told once you have one autoimmune you can easily get another one

I have hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed over 20 yrs ago. Yes, I too was told and in addition have read that one is more likely to get or have another autoimmune if you have an autoimmune disease.
