Yes it does, when this flare happened to my me. I lost the ability to move any of my facial muscles. It's gonna take a lot of rest to endure. I have no idea how long it takes to move on. But it's a flare.

Are you experiencing symptoms that might be an MG flare?

An MG flare (also called an exacerbation) happens when muscle weakness from myasthenia gravis worsens. Common symptoms of a flare can include:

* Increased muscle weakness in the arms, legs, or neck
* Eye-related issues like double vision or drooping eyelids
* Difficulty swallowing
* Trouble breathing (if respiratory muscles are affected)
* Problems with speaking

MG symptoms can vary quite a bit from person to person and even change over time in the same person. They often get worse with activity and improve with rest, so many people feel stronger at the beginning of the day.

If you're experiencing worsening muscle weakness, especially if it's affecting your breathing or swallowing, it's important to contact your healthcare provider right away. Severe flares can lead to a myasthenic crisis, which is a medical emergency.

What specific symptoms are you noticing? That might help determine if what you're experiencing aligns with a typical MG flare pattern.
