Is what I do when I have a hard time with thick saliva or phlegm in my throat. I take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to three parts, water in a shot glass it seems to help me.
I started taking it 3 years ago because I had acid reflux. I have GERD or let me say I had gerd. It's now gone. May not work for everybody but maybe it's worth a try. Good for your digestion as well.
Don't forget to dilute it. Don't drink straight apple cider vinegar. That's not good for you dilute it down

This is what helped me. You can use up to a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar twice a day. Diluted in water. I only use a teaspoon and I do one part apple cider vinegar and two to three parts water. I put it in a shot glass and I down it twice a day it seems to help me.
