I’m seeking a specialist in Victoria who will diagnose seronegative MG.
Hi Sara ,I live in Sydney NSW,I have ocular and generalised MG,I had symptoms for a few years before being diagnosed because I didn’t meet the right people to diagnose me ,I had all the signs and symptoms, and I went to doctors complaining of weakness ,fatigue and other smptons and I was seeing an optometrist for a new sight rest and I complained to her that the year before,I didn’t get the right glasses because I couldn’t open my eye lids enough and it was this lady who said,I can’t test your eyes either but I’ll refer you to an ophthalmologist who immediately suspected MG after doing some tests and ordered a blood test ,which was very specialised, she sent me to a neurologist who immediately commenced treatment .I also was difficult to diagnose because I have other neurological conditions that was being treated for by another neurologist who also worked in the same practice and found out I had MG and said ,he didn’t know how he missed that I had MG ,I don’t blame him at all because MG is rare and my other diseases had overlapping symptoms
Are you looking for a specialist in Victoria, Australia who can diagnose seronegative myasthenia gravis?
Finding the right neurologist for seronegative MG can be challenging since it requires thorough diagnostic testing to rule out other conditions and confirm the diagnosis.
