Hello dear MG Team friends
I recently had to travel for my husband's medical exam by plane. After returning home late last night, I found that even though I had to urinate, I was unable to urinate without pushing very very hard, and even then, just a trickle at best. Definitely call your doctor. There can be a variety of reasons. I would suggest pcp so more basic stuff get ruled out as well as your neurologist.
I would ck in with your PCP. I've had Mg for decades and never had that problem. I've had problems with uncontrollable leakage. (Maybe a bladder infection?) If you are taking steriods, you might not feel other symptoms like fever or pain.
I keep having many problems controlling my Bladder. Recently a Urologist ran a new kind of test on my bladder and determined that the muscle around the bladder wasn't responding to any singles from the brain. I don't know if this problem is because of my gMG, a badder unique problem or something else. If someone finds an answer I would love to hear about it.
I hope you rest up. Relax. MG can exacerbate anything. I've never had that issue but my bowl does not travel well either. Call your doctor let them know and in the mean time don't Fret.
Stay hopeful 😎
