FYI I’m a nurse.. I had Multiple thymomas. I had a thymectomy. No cancer. That surgery KICKED MY ASS. It went into overdrive. The docs said “when we take out your thymus, it pisses it off and floods your system with antibodies”. It took me 2 YEARS to stabilize with a multitude of steroids and cellcept and Plasmapharesis and IVIG and spent a crap ton of time in the hospital. I can now walk with no cane or walker. I mean I’m 57! I went to the gym as soon as I was able. I gained 150 pounds on prednisone. I was weak and destroyed. Hair fell out. Acne. BUT if you saw me now, you wouldn’t have any idea that happened to me.

My daughter had her's removed no tumors or anything last year Oct, since then she has not gone into remission, she has improved in alot of thinks since then but she takes pyrostigmia 4 times a day, has ivfg every 3 weeks, she still has double vision, not enough endurance for her age, chokes in her saliva very often and other symptoms still...
