I was on mestinon 60 mg every 4 hrs and 1 prednisone 20 mg. Dr changed to 3 prednisone daily but now it's worse. Any advice?

I just started the prednisone. 15 MG a day along with the mesition 60mg 4 times a day. Due to a flare. It's been 10 days and only seeing a very little change. The MD is upping the prednisone to 20mg. I'm worried about the side effect due to the fact that i suffer from osteoporosis and cataract. Hopefully I will be able to taper down.

Is it the same dosing of prednisone? It may take some time to get used to it. I agree, keep your doctor informed
