Good morning Jeanette
I thank God daily for persistence to find doctors that are informed and that listen
My experience was in the 80’s
So I pray things have gotten better
But if they haven’t
We must be informed
The more we know before our appointment
We can interview yes interview our potential doctors
I truly was my doctor set up a family intervention saying my symptoms wasin my head and my mri that showed a tumor and thymus gland were shadows
And when I found a doctor that listened
He sent that doctor a picture of my tumor on a ruler showing how big it was
So don’t be discouraged
Be informed
Persistence pays off
I wanted to be aggressive but I know assertive is more effective
I had a plan a b and c
Thank you Wilma for your insightful response. I get so discouraged i feel like I am fighting mg and my doctor.
Hi Jeris. The best dr to trust is the neurologist. I’m talking from experience. Most primary care dr if not all are not knowlegable about MG.
That doesn’t make sense why wouldn’t Medicare pay for it?
