That's a really important question, and it's great that you're paying attention to changes like this. Drooping eyelids (ptosis) are a well-known symptom of MG, but eye bulging is a different story.

Eye bulging is not typically a direct symptom of MG itself. However, people with MG are more likely than the general population to develop thyroid issues, and a thyroid condition called Graves' disease can cause bulging eyes. This is because Graves' disease can cause the immune system to attack the tissues and muscles around the eyes, making them inflamed and swollen — which can make the eye appear to protrude.

Other symptoms that can come with this include:
- Double vision
- Blurred vision
- Dry eyes
- Swollen or puffy eyes
- Light sensitivity
- Pressure or pain in the eyes

The good news is that with the right treatment, most people who have both MG and Graves' disease see improvement in their eye symptoms.

It's really important to bring this up with your doctor as soon as possible, especially since it's happening randomly. They can check whether a thyroid issue might be involved and figure out the best path forward for you.
