I'm in the process of weaning off prednisone and feel horrible. I have all the side effects they list. How Im depressed . It needs to be over. My poor husband is doing all he can to be supportive but it's taking a toll on him.

Cindy, thinking of you and hubby. Take a chair outside and sit in the sunshine for a period of time and look at the wonder we call Spring time. Lots in bloom.and more to come. When I was on prednisone, I thought I could fly. Didn’t need much sleep and coming down was a tough time. Mr sensitivity to outside stimulus was enhanced but it will all be behind you very soon.

Take a day at a time get lot of sleep watch a good movie listen to music and we are here if you need us and you have our prayers

There are no rules. You can come down as slowly as keeps you comfortable. I had to come down one milligram every three months after I got down to 10mg. Don't let anyone bully you. You're in charge. Take it slow. 😉
I can't believe doctors are still using steroids to treat MG. I went through that phase nearly 20 yrs ago and it doesn't work except to make you gain weight.
