My neurologist told me not to take magnesium. If there is some magnesium in a supplement, he said that was OK because it is just a small amount.
My neurologist cautioned against magnesium supplements, but if I take another supplement that has magnesium in it, he said there is not enough in it to cause a problem. It can be difficult to find some supplements that do not contain any magnesium at all.
The best alternative is to take out the supplement imho
There are plenty of foods that have magnesium naturally.
I was taking a low dose last yr per doc order 40mg off Amazon but now i dont need to. Because I changed my diet to get my magnesium through food.
I asked my Neurologist and she told me the same thing because I asked about centrum vitamins, and she says it’s such a small amount of magnesium no worries
I take 1/2 a tablet at night . Magnesium Glycerate helps with the twitches. But I would check 1st. Im low on the MG scale.
