Members in this thread connected over the common but puzzling experience of bloodshot or red eyes, with many sharing that they haven't gotten clear answers from doctors about the cause. Several members found relief through practical steps like using gel eye drops at night, moisture drops during the day, and a lutein vitamin supplement, with one member noting these changes made a big difference. A recurring theme was the importance of bringing these concerns to an eye doctor, while also acknowledging that factors like seasonal allergies, medications, or prescription eye drops may be contributing.

I definitely do. I don't know if it's related to my seasonal allergies but it seems to happen a lot. I talked to my eye Dr about it and he suggested a gel eye drop at night and a drop to add moisture during the day and it has made a big difference.

Hi Joe
Thank you for sharing your experience & wisdom. My bloodshot eye (just the left one) is where you mention, near the tearduct close to my nose. It's happened twice, exactly 1 month to the day apart (Jan. 9th & Feb. 9th), I'm wondering if March 9 will be another episode? I'm thinking it's my prescription eyedrops as they seem to burn in my left eye but not my right.
Winter this year has been brutal lol
Come on Spring! 😊

Before MG, I had a busted blood vessel in an eye a few times in my life. In the last year, it comes around every couple months or so. May be meds.

I haven't asked . Right now I'm picking my battles, and that's not even on my radar.
