Does Anyone Have Prisms Ground In Their Glasses For Double Vision? Also, Have You Tried The 3M Fresnel Prisms That Stick On To Your Glasses?

A MGteam Member asked a question 💭

I've been struggling with a lot of double vision and I'm an avid reader. I go to my ophthalmologist on February 6th, and I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the stick on prism prescription that 3M makes?

I needed a tiny bit of prism. Unfortunately my eyes vary at any given time. They are impacted by seasonal allergies too. There is some acceptance now that I can’t have perfect vision or after many blinks/time I can get better focus.

Good luck finding out about the temporary prisms.

I currently have the stick on prism and as soon as the temperature rises a bit (it was -2° out and only went up to 5°
) I will get new glasses with the 10 prism ground in. I find my eyes are not getting as tired right now and drooping as much. Hopefully it lasts.
Good luck everyone else with the prisms.
